The role is largely programming-focused. You will utilise CAD/CAM software such as CIMCO or Fusion 360 to program CNC machinery. Full training will be provided on vertical and horizontal boring machines, so prior experience on these machines is not essential. This role would suit a CAD/CAM Programmer with experience in offline/online programming or similar software, looking for a stable, days-based position within a supportive and expanding team.
THE ROLE:
- Programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
- Operating CNC lathes, milling machines, and boring machines (Vertical/Horizontal)
- Inspecting completed components using a range of quality inspection techniques
- 37-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays
THE PERSON:
- CNC Machinist with experience on lathes or milling machines
- Experience programming CNC machines offline using Fusion 360 or similar
- Able to commute to Ashton-Under-Lyne
