Are you an Architectural Technologist or similar with AUTOCAD/Revit knowledge? Do you want to work on commercial, mixedâuse, and highâend residential projects while being part of a collaborative, forwardâthinking design studio?
On offer is the opportunity to join a busy design studio in North Birmingham as an Architectural Technologist. You will work on a range of projects, from commercial developments to bespoke residential homes, producing detailed technical information and supporting projects from design development through to construction. You will be part of a closeâknit team of 8 in a modern, supportive studio environment.
In this role, you will contribute to the technical development and coordination of projects, particularly focusing on steelâframe and reinforced concrete structures, as well as belowâground construction. You will collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure highâquality design and construction documentation.
The Role- Produce detailed technical drawings, models, and specifications to a high professional standard.
- Coordinate design information with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Develop and review technical solutions for steelâframe and reinforced concrete structures.
- Provide technical input on belowâground construction, including foundations, basements, retaining structures, and waterproofing systems.
- Work Monday to Friday, 8:30â4:30 pm.
- Experience with steelâframe buildings, reinforced concrete structures, and belowâground construction.
- Understanding of belowâground construction methodologies, UK Building Regulations and associated guidance.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, or comparable design platforms.
- Commutable to Sutton Coldfield.
