Solar Maintenance & Install Engineer (Commercial / Renewables)

£40,000 – £46,000 + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card + Progression + Overtime + Pension + 20+ Days Holiday + Training + Benefits

Are you an experienced Solar Engineer looking to join a growing, award-winning renewable energy company at the forefront of sustainable electrical solutions whilst they develop your career progression?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-award-winning leader in renewable energy. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar PV systems across a wide range of industries.

This company is responsible for maintaining and repairing Electrical systems nationwide since 1998. They support clients with minor and major maintenance tasks, ensuring site and work safety, as well as conduct risk assessments for company works.

This role would suit a motivated Solar Maintenance and Install Engineers wanting to join an expanding team. You'll work on high-end residential, commercial, and industrial projects, delivering cutting-edge solar PV solutions.

The Role

  • Installation and maintenance of solar PV systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
  • Lead and execute projects with the highest standards of workmanship and efficiency.
  • Carry out solar PV system upgrades and improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with solar PV systems and battery storage solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and ensure strict HSE compliance.
  • Preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical components, inverters, and modules.
  • Complete accurate documentation including work reports, service reports, and timesheets.

  • 18th edition
  • Experience installing and maintaining solar PV systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of inverters, panels, mounting systems, and fault-finding.
  • ECS or CSCS card
