Mechanical Fitter (Heavy Machinery) – £40,000 – £45,000 + Training + Overtime + Company Van

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Are you a Mechanical Fitter or similar with a background in Agricultural machinery or similar looking to join an established company with specific product training and the option for overtime to greatly boost earnings?

On offer is the opportunity to join a business that has been in operation for over 35 years. They have grown over the last few years and opened up another depot with plans to continue expanding. They work with a number of clients including local councils and leisure companies but mainly work with farming companies. They are a family run business and take a flexible approach to their work and staff requirements.

The role involves depot-based work near the Sandbach area and covering a patch between Cheshire and Stafford, visiting clients, representing the company and carrying out all maintenance required by the client.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter or similar with an Agricultural Machinery/Heavy Machinery or similar background looking to join a stable company who value their staff and are looking to expand their service team. They can provide specific product training, potential for career progression and overtime to boost take-home pay.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out maintenance or mechanical fitting on Agricultural Machinery (skillset dependent)
  • Depot-based and field service-based work
  • Visit clients, represent the company and carry out all maintenance required by the client
