Junior Installation Technician (Full Training Provided) Glasgow £27,000 – £32,500 (40K OTE) + Training + Progression + Bonus + Overnight Allowance + Pool Van Do you have any Mechanical or Electrical installation/assembly knowledge and want to kickstart your career with an industry leading company, where you’ll be supported with full training and progression into an engineering role, turning your willingness to learn into a long-term career? On offer is the opportunity to join a company that provides and installs condition monitoring systems for substations across the UK. They supply to companies such as The National Grid and Scottish Power and are looking to further expand their installations team due to an ever-increasing workload. In this role you will be travelling across the UK and Ireland, staying overnight for up to 100 nights a year, working along side trained engineers to further develop your skills. You will be provided with further training through shadowing, and external training from the manufacturers of the condition monitoring systems you will be installing. Previous Mechanical or Electrical experience is helpful but being willing to learn and develop yourself, with an interest in Engineering, is the most important aspect. This role would suit someone with Mechanical or Electrical installation/assembly knowledge looking to kickstart their career with full training and progression into an engineering role.
