Are you an HV Fitter, Steel erector or similar with a background working in DNO or Substation environments looking for a new role with a market-leading company within the Power industry that will support and aid your progression with qualifications and provide a range of benefits including regular automatic overtime to generously boost your income?

This company has been providing substation engineering services UK wide for over half a century. They are ever expanding and looking to grow their team to support the continuous growth of the business.

In this role you will play a key part in the installation and assembly of high-voltage substation equipment, including switchgear, transformers, structural steelwork, and control panels. The role involves hands-on mechanical and electrical fitting, cable installation and terminations, earthing and bonding, and supporting testing and commissioning activities.

This role would suit an HV Fitter or similar looking for a varied role within a well-established substation company who offer personal development, training and progression within a growing, expanding business.

The Role:
  • Installation of high voltage electrical systems, equipment and components including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, cables and related equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other team members to execute projects, troubleshoot issues and ensure the efficient operation of high voltage electrical systems.
The Person:
  • Background as a HV fitter or similar.
  • Experience in power stations, solar or similar.
  • UK driving license.
