Are you a Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias, looking to join a tight knit company that offers engineering solutions for a distinguished client list, such as the Hilton, as well as a flexible schedule and a company vehicle?

On offer is a well-established company servicing all types of biomass plants across the UK. The team focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing biomass systems to ensure efficient operation for clients in the Welsh Borders and beyond. This company offers flexible scheduling as well as external and internal training to foster your development and growth.

In this role, you will travel around the UK carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair on a variety of biomass plants' electrical issues. This involves analysing diagrams for control panels and fault finding to ensure all work meets safety and compliance requirements.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy problem-solving, hands-on work, and collaborating with a small, dynamic team while contributing to the growth of renewable energy solutions. This role requires the relevant 18th edition for wiring regulations.

The Role:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on biomass systems
  • Conduct repairs and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
  • Install new biomass systems according to client specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure documentation compliance

The Person:

  • Clean Driving Licence required for travel to client sites
  • Familiarity with electrical automation and industrial control systems preferred
  • HEATAS certification desirable but not mandatory
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
