This company is a well-established precision engineering manufacturer, founded over 40 years ago, specialising in the production of safety-critical fasteners and high-precision machined components. Operating from a modern, well-equipped facility in Barrow-in-Furness, they supply into demanding industries including aerospace, defence, oil & gas, power generation and medical sectors.
In this role, you will operate CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances. You will be responsible for setting and running machines, interpreting technical drawings, and carrying out basic quality inspections to ensure components meet specification.
This role would suit a CNC Machinist looking to join a well-established precision engineering company with a strong team environment and stable workload.
The Role:- Operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components
- Set, prove out, and run jobs in line with technical drawings and specifications
- Carry out in-process quality checks using measuring equipment
- Monitor machine performance and report any faults or deviations
