On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established Engineering consultancy who have been in business for nearly 35 years, their goal is to expand the team year on year and their client base consistently. They currently work with multiple clients including industrial, commercial and residential properties looking after their Structural, Civil, SuDS/SAB and Highway solutions.
As an experienced Structural Engineer, you'll lead project delivery, ensuring structural integrity and design innovation. You'll oversee your team's work, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to standards. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals, you'll create safe, efficient structures and manage client communication with confidence. You will join the team on a Monday to Friday basis with the opportunity to work from home after probation. This role would suit a Structural Engineer looking to progress into an associate position, with the chance to become a key decision maker as well as a technical expert.
The Role:
- Carry out structural analysis and calculations for various structural projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Manage our internal project team and provide guidance and direction to our Graduate Engineers and Technicians.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers and the wider design team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Manage project delivery time and budgets.
- Attend design/site team meetings.
- Perform site visits and inspections.
- Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices.
Monday to Friday (9-5AM) - Ready to start ASAP
