Are you a HSE professional from a manufacturing or industrial background looking for a stable and secure, days-based role for a small but stable business that can offer autonomy and enhanced holiday?

On offer is a Monday to Friday role where you will be overseeing Health, Safety and Environmental provisions across a close-knit business who are vertically integrated into a larger corporate group.

In this role you will be creating and managing health and safety policies across a small chemical manufacturing site. You will be primarily office based and will be creating reports and updating training records, along with conducting site checks and some auditing. Additionally, you will be required to liaise with the Environment Agency and monitor site emissions for irregularities.

This business is vertically integrated into a wider group. Established 5 years ago, this site was set up to formulate and create highly specialised chemicals for the creation of a healthcare product used by millions of people worldwide.

This role would suit a Health and Safety professional looking to head up the provisions within a small, highly specialised chemical manufacturing site that can offer stability, autonomy and work/life balance.

The Role:
  • Creating and managing Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Conducting site checks and producing Safety Data Sheets
  • Writing and creating H&S reports and escalating where appropriate
  • Liaising with the Environment Agency and monitoring emissions
  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:00pm, 37.5 hours a week
The Person:
  • Health, Safety and Environment Advisor / Officer or similar
  • Chemical, Manufacturing, or Industrial background
