Are you an Architectural Designer or similar with any experience working on Facade or Cladding Projects? Do you use AutoCAD and Revit? Are you looking for a step-up into a senior position within a rapidly expanding specialist in their field, who give you full autonomy to deliver lucrative projects and the opportunity to mentor junior members?
On offer is the opportunity to join a longstanding family business, who specialise in major projects within the construction industry, who have just gained major contracts to ensure workflow and growth over the next 5 years. This company focuses on their people, have a great working environment and give you the ability to manage design projects from conception to completion.
This varied and autonomous role will see you oversee projects from early engagement to construction with a supportive team around you. You will be responsible for drawing, creating and modelling innovative designs within clients' budgets, you will be required to use AutoCAD and Revit software, produce technical documents and check the quality of work being submitted. This is a Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM role.
This role would suit an Architectural Designer or similar with any project experience in the Facade or Cladding industry, looking for a step up into a senior position, mentorship of junior designers and the design of high-value projects that will grow the business over the next 5 years.
The Role:- Manage Design projects from cradle to grave.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to create, draw and model innovative designs.
- Mentorship of Junior Designers.
- Report to senior management / clients on timescales and costings.
- Create technical documents, design validation and risk analysis.
- Monday to Friday - 9AM to 5PM.
- Architectural CAD Designer, Technician or similar.
- Background in Cladding, Facades or Roofing projects.
- Background in AutoCAD / Revit.
- Commutable to Bristol.
