Are you an Electrical background with experience in control circuit design seeking an exciting new opportunity where you will play an essential role with a historic global leader in its field?
On offer is a role that offers mentorship and development, where you will design and develop control circuit designs, site wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings. You will also have the responsibility of supporting the site engineers to assist with fault-finding and identifying solutions.
This Company has been established for over a century, has a number of patented world firsts to its name, and is a leading international player in energy transition as well as one of the world leaders in the thermal energy sector, producing industrial boilers and burners.
The Electrical Engineer will manage the electrical component of projects for equipment supply and turnkey installations, working with colleagues in Process Engineering and Service Divisions to bring projects to commercial and technical completion within contract requirements.
The Role:- Assisting the Production Works Supervisor with progressing contracts through Engineering & Works
- Progressing the electrical engineering of contracts, including control circuit design, site wiring diagrams and associated documentation, including compiling manuals
- Preparing & revising electrical and associated mechanical drawings, including Circuit Diagrams and Panel Layout Drawings, and Site Wiring Diagrams
- Preparing and updating the Technical Service Department documents
- Assisting commissioning and service engineers in the office and over the telephone with onsite technical and electrical queries and troubleshooting as and when necessary
- Experience preferably from within electrical engineering services with reference to steam or high temperature process heating applications, but other backgrounds will be considered
- Use of AutoCAD in preparing Electrical Circuit Diagrams / P+IDs / GA drawings
