Are you an Assembly Fitter with a background in industrial machinery or similar, looking for a hands-on, full-time days based role with a stable company and optional overtime?

Join a solid established UK engineering firm building quality winding machines. Hands-on work, great team, real variety and machines shipped worldwide.

In this role, you\’ll assemble bespoke mechanical systems, working from engineering drawings. You\’ll work on a variety of machine builds involving pneumatics, hydraulics, and occasionally painting. Occasional UK and overseas travel may be required during machine commissioning.

THE ROLE:

• Mechanical assembly of bespoke special purpose machinery
• Work from engineering drawings to build complete systems
• Assist with pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine finishing
• Occasional UK and international travel for installations
• Full-time, permanent role based on-site in Bedford

THE PERSON:

• Assembly Fitter or similar, with background in machine assembly
• Experience with pneumatics/hydraulics and painting beneficial
• Commutable to Bedford
