Are you an architectural technician with experience in commercial or industrial building design? Do you want to join a growing architectural firm and develop your design expertise working on a range of commercial projects, with progression to directorship?
On offer is an opportunity to be a part of an architectural firm who have been supplying design and management services to the food manufacturing industry for over 25 years. This company works with a range of clients in the industry including blue-chip companies across the UK such as Bakkavor, Greggs and Oscar Mayer. In this varied role, you will be involved in large industrial projects and provide a complete design service from project conception to completion. Your role will include working on a range of design projects such as new build factories and the refurbishment of existing industrial buildings. You will also liaise directly with clients and create technical drawings and designs that meet building codes regulations.
The Role:
- Create technical drawings and models
- Ensure designs meet building codes and regulations including Part B, Part K, Part M
- Liaise and co-ordinate with clients and other departments
- Knowledge of industrial building types - steel frames, cladding
- AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience submitting planning applications and dealing with the building control process
The Person:
- Architectural technician with experience in CDM or BSA principle design
- Full UK Driving license
- Commutable to Stamford
