We are recruiting an Experienced Transport Planner on behalf of our customer who are a well-established logistics company based in the Wellingborough. As a Transport Planner your responsibilities will include; Planning effective routes Managing customer/network orders and prioritising based on customer requirements Addressing and resolving operational issues and queries as they arise Driving continuous improvements in transport operations. Making quick decisions under pressure and within tight timescales. Adapting to business requirements, particularly during peak periods. The ideal candidate will have the following; Strong Geographical Knowledge of the UK Proficient in Microsoft packages particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent communication Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines The Employment package on offer; Up to £33,000 per annum Monday to Friday 0830 to 1830 20 days holiday + Bank Holiday Auto enrolled Pension On-site parking Ongoing training and development
