We are looking for a keen and driven Parts & Retail Manager to embrace the management of the existing parts team at our Framlingham branch, based in Suffolk. This is a key role in a team of professional people that thrive on working together to provide the best support to our customers.
Role Purpose
Reporting to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall efficient running of the Parts Department. This will include the showroom and goods inward area, its staff and the overall departmental profitability as well as maintaining effective and accurate communication between customers and the Parts team. As the Parts & Retail Manager you will be integral to providing support not only internally, to our Sales and Service Departments, but to some major key accounts, customers and trade partners.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Experience and good knowledge of Agricultural and Groundcare products and parts is advantageous
- Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written are required
- Remain calm under pressure
- Be organised and have the ability to multitask efficiently
- Be proactive and methodical in approach to problem solving
- Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature
- Work towards targets and objectives set
- Able to work alone and on your own initiative
- Have an excellent level of IT skills
- Strong attention to detail
Additional Information
- Start Date: Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
- Hours: 42.5-hours per week: 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Additional hours required to include Saturdays as per rota and peak times e.g. harvest
- Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, plus a profit-related bonus
