Overview
We’re looking for a Service Technician to become a part of our professional team at our Fakenham branch in Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company trading and operating from 20 locations, covering Essex, Herts, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridge, Lincolnshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Over the last 18 months, we have won the New Holland Service Excellence (Net Promoter Score) Award (Agriculture), New Holland Telehandler Dealer of the Year (Agriculture), Dalbo European Dealer of the Year (Agriculture) and Hyundai Dealer of the Year (Construction).
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery sold by our sales teams. You’ll report directly to the Service Manager and take pride in delivering excellent service to our customers across the region.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is practical, proactive, and customer-focused, with a strong technical background. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience in the Agricultural or Horticultural industry (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills, including use of the latest software
- Ability to handle internal, warranty, and chargeable repairs with precision
- Confidence working with heavy machinery and tools
- A strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Good general fitness and a professional appearance
- Commitment to following health and safety procedures at all times
Additional Information
- Start Date: Immediate (subject to replacement of current role)
- Hours: 39 hours per week, Mon–Thu: 8am–5pm, Fri: 8am–4pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Salary: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
