We are currently looking for an experienced Specialist Vegetable Service Technician to join the established team at our Sutterton branch, based in Lincolnshire. Role Purpose

  • To repair and maintain all equipment associated with Specialist Vegetable machinery (but not limited to) that is sold by the company's sales departments.
  • Proven experience within the agricultural industry would be advantageous.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs which may be chargeable or warrantable.
  • Service, maintain and diagnose faults on in-field agricultural machinery and crop production equipment, including products from manufacturers such as Ecorobotix, Tumoba, Verhoest and Samon, among others.
  • Installation, commissioning and modification of new and existing in-field equipment, including fabrication and repairs where required.
  • Complete job cards in full relating to work undertaken, including machine details, time, mileage and any accompanying documentation.
  • Liaise professionally with customers and suppliers as required.
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative, as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety practices and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a good general level of health and fitness.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Competent in the use of computers and digital service tools.
  • Excellent customer service skills, as this is a customer-facing role.
  • Full valid driving licence with no more than 3 points.

Additional Information

  • Start Date: Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period.
  • Location: Sutterton, Lincolnshire, PE20 2E.
  • Hours: 39hrs per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1hr unpaid lunch). Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39hrs Monday to Friday.
  • Contract: Permanent, full time, hourly paid.
  • Salary: £Competitive, depending on experience plus Company Van and Company mobile phone.
  • Benefits: 32 days annual leave including bank holidays, Company Sick Pay Scheme, Workplace Pension, Employee Referral Bonus Scheme, Winter Flu Jab Service, Staff Discount in Country Stores and Death in Service Cover (2 x salary).
