The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Reporting directly to the General Groundcare Machinery Sales Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and working alongside a small team of engineers that are responsible for the assembly, PDI, demonstration and delivery of both Professional and Domestic Grass Machinery. This includes our extensive hire fleet of golf cars, utility vehicles & hire machinery.
Essential Skills/Experience/Requirements
- Previous supervisory or management experience is desirable
- A good understanding of groundcare machinery and how it works
- Organising the day to day running of the workshop
- Assembly of new machinery and servicing used machinery
- The ability to diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs
- Lifting of heavy machinery, applying common sense to items that require the assistance of special tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with suppliers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner
- Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods
- Able to work alone and on your own initiative
- Maintain a good general level of health and fitness
- Full driver’s licence
Additional Information
- Start Date: Immediate, but subject to candidate’s notice period
- Hours: 39 hours per week – 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch) Saturdays as required
- Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours Monday to Friday, double time on Sundays or Bank Holidays
- Salary: competitive, depending on experience
