We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Agricultural Service Technician to join our established team at our Sutterton branch in Lincolnshire.

This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical knowledge of agricultural machinery who enjoys problem solving, working both independently and as part of a team, and delivering excellent service to customers. You will benefit from direct manufacturer support and training, alongside the opportunity to work with a knowledgeable and experienced team.
As an Agricultural Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, servicing, and maintenance of agricultural machinery supplied by our sales department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on agricultural machinery
- Servicing and maintaining equipment to a high professional standard
- Diagnosing hydraulic and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic software
- Completing warranty, chargeable, and internal repair work accurately
- Working safely with heavy machinery and using specialist tools where required
- Ensuring excellent customer service during on-site or customer-facing work
- Working independently or alongside other technicians to deliver efficient repairs
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience within the Agricultural or Specialist Vegetable machinery industry
- Ability to repair and maintain Agricultural or Specialist Vegetable equipment
- Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Experience using diagnostic software and modern repair tools
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Physically fit and comfortable working with heavy machinery
- Smart and professional appearance
- Excellent customer service skills in a customer-facing role
- Full clean driving licence
Additional Information:
- Start Date: Immediate
- Location: Sutterton, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE20 2ET
- Hours: 39 per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hr unpaid lunch) Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39hrs.
- Contract: Permanent, full-time, hourly paid
- Salary: £Competitive, depending on experience plus company van and company mobile phone
