Reporting to the Parts & Showroom Manager, your role will be to deliver Calor Gas and other items from our busy parts department, as well as assisting in the Showroom/ Parts Department when required and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service at all times.
Main Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver Calor Gas as required to a range of customers
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe vehicle
- Liaise with customers and suppliers as required
- Positively promote the Company image and its products
- Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis, both face to face and over the phone
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Proactively identify and recruit new gas trade customers and stockists.
- Must be prepared to work overtime as required to meet the operational needs of the business and ensure timely delivery of all orders.
Role Requirements
- ADR licence is desirable
- Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods
- Loading and unloading items from the vehicle
- Full driving licence is required
- Forklift licence is advantageous
- Smart, clean and tidy appearance as is a customer facing role
- Excellent customer service skills as dealing with members of the public and visiting their homes
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- A team player-capable of working alone or with other team staff, but also able to use own initiative
- Maintain a good general level of health and fitness (be able to lift gas cylinders)
Additional Information
- Start Date: Immediate, but subject to candidates notice period
- Hours: 39hrs per week basic β 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch), Saturdays as part of rota

- ompetitive, depending on experience
