Role Purpose

Reporting to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall efficient running of the Parts Department. This involves managing the showroom and goods inward area, overseeing staff, ensuring departmental profitability, and maintaining effective communication between customers and the Parts team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the existing parts team at our Framlingham branch.
  • Support Sales and Service Departments as well as key accounts and trade partners.
  • Maintain showroom operations.
  • Handle customer and internal communication.
  • Ensure departmental targets and objectives are met.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience and good knowledge of Agricultural and Groundcare products and parts is advantageous.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Remain calm under pressure.
  • Be organised and capable of multitasking efficiently.
  • Be proactive and methodical in problem solving.
  • Act with discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
  • Work towards targets and objectives set.
  • Able to work alone and on your own initiative.
  • Have an excellent level of IT skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Additional Information

  • Start date: Immediate, but subject to successful candidate's notice period.
  • Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 8:00‑5:30 AM‑PM Monday‑Friday (1‑hour unpaid lunch); additional Saturdays as per rota and peak times.
  • Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, plus a profit‑related bonus.
