Agricultural Service Technician – Fyfield

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Proven experience within the Agricultural industry would be advantageous.
• Ability to diagnose faults using the latest software and successfully carry out repairs which may be chargeable, warrantable or internal jobs.
• Ability to repair and maintain equipment for customers associated with Agricultural or Horticultural machinery and equipment.
• Lifting heavy machinery, applying common sense to items that require the assistance of special tools.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers as required.
• Has the ability to work alone using your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Ability to adhere to health and safety practice and procedures at all times.
• Maintain a good general level of health and fitness.
• Self‑motivated.
• Excellent customer service skills as this is a customer‑facing role.

Additional Information

• Start Date: Immediate, but subject to candidates’ notice period.
• Hours: 39 hours per week – 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1‑hr unpaid lunch). Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours.
• Pay: Competitive, depending on experience (hourly paid) plus company vehicle.
