Reporting directly to the Horticultural Service Manager, you will be responsible for repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with Horticultural machinery that is sold by the company’s sales departments.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Domestic or Professional Grass Machinery and how it functions is advantageous
- Repair and maintain equipment for customers associated with Horticultural machinery
- Diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs and service work
- Good knowledge of Utility, Garden or small Agricultural machinery
- Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using the latest software
- Have the ability to work alone using own initiative and as part of a team
- Heavy lifting but apply common sense to items that require assistance
- Competent in the use of computers
- Excellent customer service skills both face to face and over the telephone
- Be self-motivated
Additional Information
- Start Date: Immediate, but subject to candidates notice period
- Hours: 39 hours per week – 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- We are offering a competitive salary and Company Van, plus 32 days holiday including bank holidays, workplace pension, life assurance (2 x salary), country store staff discount, company sick pay scheme, flu jabs and employee referral scheme.
