We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Service Technician to join our established team at our Dartford branch based in Sutton At Hone in Kent.
Role Purpose: Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be part of a dedicated group that uses cutting‑edge technology, including the latest laptop diagnostics and telemetry systems, to maintain and repair construction machinery sold by our sales department.
- In‑depth knowledge of or experience in the Construction or Agricultural industry (advantageous).
- Skilled in diagnosing hydraulic and electrical faults using advanced software tools and delivering high‑quality repairs on chargeable, warrantable, or internal jobs.
- Comfortable handling and lifting heavy machinery, with the ability to use special tools when required.
- A proactive team player who can also excel independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, vital for this client‑facing role.
- Proficient in computer usage, particularly diagnostic software.
- Self‑motivated, reliable, and capable of working under pressure to meet customer demands, including long hours and weekend cover (on a rota).
- Maintain a good general level of health and fitness.

Additional Information:
- Start Date: Immediate, but subject to candidates notice period
- Hours: 39 hours per week – 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm Friday (1‑hour unpaid lunch).
- Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours Monday to Friday.
- £Competitive, dependent on experience, plus company vehicle.
- 32 days annual leave including bank holidays.
