Overview
I am working with a longstanding construction consultancy based in Marylebone, who are searching for a professional and capable Senior Project Manager to join their growing team and run the delivery of projects from Inception-Completion in the Hotel sector.
The Company
The Senior Project Manager will be joining a well-established consultancy that has 10+ offices in the UK and a strong pipeline of projects in the Hotel sector. The Senior Project Manager will be joining a close-knit team which includes three Project Managers, two additional Senior Project Managers, one Associate Director and a Project Director.
The role
The Senior Project Manager will bring strong experience running schemes including new build, refurbishments and extensions from inception-completion in the Hotel sector, whilst ensuring that the programme of works is carried out on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for offering support towards Junior Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of projects. The Senior Project Manager will be working closely with two additional Senior Project Managers, an Associate Director and the Project Director.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the whole Project Management team to drive schemes forward to completion
- Communicating with external parties such as contractors and sub-contractors
- Providing support/mentorship to junior Project Managers
- Reporting progress feedback on Projects to the Project Director weekly
- Reviewing costs regularly to ensure Schemes are within Budget constraints
- Attending weekly site visits
- Arranging and attending client meetings
- Ensuring all works are compliant with safety and quality standards
Senior Project Manager requirements:
- Previous experience working for a Consultancy
- Hotel experience would be ideal
- MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
- BSc/MSc Construction Project Management
- Ability to manage Schemes simultaneously
- Previous experience leading a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
What would be offered:
£75,000-£85,000 per annum salary package
28 days annual leave +
