I am working with a leading project and cost consultancy based near Covent Gardens, who are searching for a professional Senior Project Manager that has strong exposure to delivering schemes from Inception-Completion in the Healthcare sector under the NEC4 Contract type.

The Company that the Senior Project Manager will join: The Senior Project Manager will be joining a large Consultancy that have 10+ offices in the UK and are renowned for delivering exceptional Schemes within the Healthcare sector. The Senior Project Manager will be running schemes including Refurbishments and New Builds with Contract Values as high as £100m.

The Senior Project Manager role: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of current projects in the Healthcare sector from start-finish. The Senior Project Manager will be working alongside an Associate Director and the Project Director, but will be given the responsibility of leading/supporting junior members of the Project Management team on a day to day basis if any problems occur within Projects.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the whole Project Management team to drive schemes forward to completion
  • Communicating with external parties such as contractors and sub-contractors
  • Providing support/mentorship to junior members of the Project Management team
  • Reporting progress feedback on Projects to the Associate and Project Director weekly
  • Reviewing costs regularly to ensure Schemes are within Budget constraints
  • Arranging meetings with clients
  • Ensuring all works are compliant with safety and quality standards

Senior Project Manager requirements:

  • Previous experience working for a consultancy
  • Healthcare experience is preferred
  • NEC4 Contract experience
  • MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
  • BSc/MSc Construction Project Management
  • Ability to manage Schemes simultaneously
  • Previous experience leading a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
