The Quantity Surveyor will work alongside a team that focuses solely on bespoke residential refurbishments and new builds in the southeast and London. The company has a strong pipeline of work and is offering a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent support and development prospects.

The company, specialising entirely in prime residential refurbishments and new builds, has recently experienced an influx of new projects. They have a turnover of around £80 million and have a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional standards of work. Quantity Surveyor Role

You’ll be working on a £9 million single dwelling residential conversion into a 7-bedroom boutique hotel. It’s an incredible project with a future pipeline of similar projects. You’ll be based on site near High-Wycombe and will benefit from a full-time, site-based team of a contracts manager, site manager, and an assistant quantity surveyor for you to mentor. Projects range from £2 million to £80 million and are some of the best London and the South East has to offer. Ideally, you will have experience of Prime / Super prime property. There’s value engineering, procurement, and a very dynamic and fast-paced element to this project.

Responsibilities:

  • Cost Reporting
  • Tender and contract documents
  • CVR's
  • Bills of Quants
  • Attend professional and client meetings
  • Assign subcontractors and suppliers aligned with procurement schedule
  • Mitigate commercial risks

Requirements:

  • 5 years + Experience
  • Experience of working for a main contractor
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
