The Quantity Surveyor will work alongside a team that focuses solely on bespoke residential refurbishments and new builds in the southeast and London. The company, specialising entirely in prime residential refurbishments and new builds, has recently experienced an influx of new projects. They have a turnover of around £80 million and have a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional standards of work. Quantity Surveyor Role
You’ll be working on a £9 million single dwelling residential conversion into a 7-bedroom boutique hotel. It’s an incredible project with a future pipeline of similar projects. You’ll be based on site near High-Wycombe and will benefit from a full-time, site-based team of a contracts manager, site manager, and an assistant quantity surveyor for you to mentor. Projects range from £2 million to £80 million and are some of the best London and the South East has to offer. Ideally, you will have experience of Prime / Super prime property. There’s value engineering, procurement, and a very dynamic and fast-paced element to this project.
Responsibilities:
- Cost Reporting
- Tender and contract documents
- CVR's
- Bills of Quants
- Attend professional and client meetings
- Assign subcontractors and suppliers aligned with procurement schedule
- Mitigate commercial risks
Requirements:
- 5 years + Experience
- Experience of working for a main contractor
