SRVO - £Competitive, aligned to experience - Remote – Midlands / East Midlands / East Anglia ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join SRVO as part of a growing and highly capable surveying team, delivering core building surveying, project and compliance services across the UK.
This role is suited to an MRICS-qualified Surveyor (or equivalent level of experience) who enjoys variety, takes pride in technical quality, and is confident managing client instructions across both residential and commercial assets.
This is a senior role for a Surveyor who wants autonomy, technically credible work and project exposure, without being stuck in a volume-driven consultancy model.
You’ll work across a varied portfolio including residential, commercial, industrial and education environments, giving you genuine breadth and technical challenge rather than repetitive site types.
You’ll work under the direction of the Building Surveying Directors, with the freedom to run your own workload, lead projects, and contribute to the development of junior Surveyors and APC candidates.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS This is a senior-level role requiring sound judgement, strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple instructions without compromising quality.
You’ll be expected to work independently in a remote environment, travelling to sites as required, while also collaborating closely with Directors and colleagues across the business.
The work is varied and technically broad, covering defects, planned maintenance, project delivery, compliance and advisory services.
