A leading and well-respected property consultancy based in Twickenham is seeking a polished and enthusiastic Project Manager with experience delivering complex hotel schemes within a construction consultancy environment.
The Project Manager will be joining an innovative property consultancy that has a strong presence in delivering projects in the hotel sector. They will be running multiple programmes of work, which include new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs with contract values up to £75m.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects from start to finish, whilst providing support to junior members of the project management division. They will work alongside the Project Director and 2 Associate Directors, reporting on a weekly basis to the Senior Project Manager they will closely support throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will also offer mentorship to Assistant Project Managers.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the whole Project Management team to drive schemes forward to completion
- Communicating with external parties such as contractors and subcontractors
- Providing support/mentorship to junior members of the Project Management team
- Reporting progress feedback on projects to the Senior Project Manager on a weekly basis
- Reviewing costs regularly to ensure schemes are within budget constraints
- Arranging meetings with clients
- Ensuring all works are compliant with safety and quality standards
Project Manager requirements:
- Previous experience working for a project and cost consultancy
- Hotel experience would be ideal
- MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
- BSc/MSc in Project Management
- Confident at managing schemes simultaneously
- Previous experience leading a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
