Overview
An up-and-coming Construction Consultancy located in Southampton is looking for a motivated and client-facing Senior Project Manager who has experience working for a Construction Consultancy and exposure to delivering schemes in the Residential sector from inception to completion.
The Senior Project Manager will join an employee-first Construction Consultancy with a dynamic, close-knit team, known for delivering schemes within the Residential sector. The schemes are New Build and Refurbishment projects with contract values of £15m+ and located in London and the Southeast. The Senior Project Manager will be required to attend the Southampton office weekly.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of current and upcoming projects from design through construction phases.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to ensure projects progress as planned.
- Liaise with Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to resolve challenges.
- Report progress and feedback to Associate Directors and major stakeholders.
- Review costs regularly to ensure schemes remain within budget constraints.
- Facilitate meetings with clients.
- Ensure all works comply with safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience working for a Construction Consultancy.
- Knowledge of working within the Residential sector.
- MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred.
- A relevant BSc/MSc in Construction or related field would be ideal.
- Ability to manage schemes simultaneously.
- A passion and interest in managing a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
