A dynamic and growing construction consultancy based in London Bridge is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing primarily housing projects, but you will also work on healthcare, education and commercial projects and contribute to business development initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get involved with the growth of a business both in terms of using business development skills to bring in new work and growing the team around you.
You will be responsible for:
- Running projects from concept to completion
- Supporting the Cost Management Director
- Engaging in business development activities
- Overseeing and mentoring junior staff members
The Associate Quantity Surveyor
- BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
- MRICS or currently working towards it
- Experience within a private practice/consultancy
- Strong pre and post contract knowledge
- Business development experience
- Capable of supporting the management of a team and mentoring junior colleagues
