I\’m partnered with a leading consultancy who are looking for a Director of Building Surveying to take charge of their Bristol team. This is a genuine leadership role for a current or aspiring Director of Building Surveying – you\’ll be heading up a team of 12 surveyors, driving profitability, leading key projects, and building long-term client relationships.

City of London / Hybrid
£80,000 – £90,000 + 20% commission over agreed team target

If you\’re currently at Associate Building Surveyor or Director level and want the autonomy to shape and grow a high-performing team, while still staying hands-on with clients and projects, this could be the right next step.

You\’ll be based out of their central Bristol office, running a profitable unit with the backing of a wider national business. You\’ll also play a key part in mentoring junior surveyors, supporting APC candidates, and winning work through your network and business development skills.

What they\’re looking for:

• MRICS qualified with senior leadership experience

• Proven track record of leading a profitable team

• Strong business development background – able to win and nurture long-term client relationships

• Experience leading projects across a mix of sectors

• Passion for supporting and developing junior surveyors (APC support, mentoring, etc.)

• Commercially astute and comfortable operating at board level

What\’s on offer:

• £80,000 – £90,000 salary (depending on experience)
