About this Role
Ermine Street Church Academy, part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT), is seeking to appoint a HLTA.
- Payscale: Point 12 (FTE £28,598 per year, approx. £14,864 Pro-rata)
- 23 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
- Commencing: as soon as possible

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
- Have experience of working across the primary age range
- Have experience working in a TA or HLTA role
- Have experience of covering classes
- Have knowledge of Sounds Write phonics, Complete Maths and PKC
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
- Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
- Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to use their initiative
- Be able to work flexibly and professionally
We are looking for an experienced HLTA to join our team, working 23 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The purpose of this role is to support the teaching and learning across the school, covering classes as timetabled and on an ad hoc basis when required.
