We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Class 2 driver with a passion for plant and machinery to join our team. You will be based from our depot at Bristol Road, Gloucester.
Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30am–5:00pm 42.5 hours per week, overtime on a Saturday morning on a rotational basis.
Based: Bristol Road, Gloucester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain your allocated vehicle to a high standard – compliant, clean, and well-represented.
- Safely load, transport, and unload plant and machinery – ensuring it’s properly secured at all times.
- Conduct basic customer handovers and guide them on the safe use of equipment when needed.
- Carry out visual inspections during collections/deliveries, reporting any damage, cleaning needs, or fuel issues to the office with supporting evidence.
- Represent Ermin professionally while on site with customers.
- Be mindful of fuel efficiency and reduce vehicle idle time wherever possible.
