This is an outstanding opportunity for a Hydrologist, Technical Consulting Director seeking a leadership role in our Water practice. You will lead water studies for major mining projects across Canada, supporting environmental assessments, permitting, operational decisions, and closure planning. Work can be from our offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, remotely, or in a hybrid model. This senior role involves shaping strategy and business growth in Canada.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise to expand water management services in Canada, focusing on impact assessment, permitting, risk assessment, and site closure.
- Lead preparation of technical documents, from hands-on interpretation to reviewing delegated work.
- Support business development through proposals and client engagement.
- Leverage existing client relationships to grow ERMβs presence and market share.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings effectively.
Candidate Profile:
- P.Eng. or P.Geo with MSc/PhD in civil/environmental engineering or related field.
- 8+ years (15+ preferred) in water resource management, impact assessment, and permitting in mining, with expertise in hydrometeorology, water modeling, and environmental water quality.
- Strong understanding of mining and energy sector regulations and impact assessment best practices.
- Proven leadership, client relationship skills, and technical reputation.
- Excellent English communication skills.

Compensation: Annual base salary ranges from $134,383 to $162,345 CAD, depending on experience and other factors. Bonus eligibility and benefits are included.
