ERM is looking for an ambitious and passionate EHS Consultant to join our team in London. In this role you will be seconded full-time (5 days per week) into a pioneering technology organisation. With a strong foundation in cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and advanced engineering, the company is delivering innovative technology solutions at scale. Known for its commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainability, it offers a collaborative environment where talented individuals can make a tangible impact in a fast-evolving technology sector. The role will be based across two client sites in London but will span operations across the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and therefore also comes with opportunity for travel (approx. 10-20%).

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the delivery of EHS activities through site inspections, walkarounds, and observations.
  • Identifying potential hazards and raise actions to support risk reduction.
  • Assisting with audits and basic risk assessments across site activities.
  • Supporting monitoring of construction safety, general workplace safety, and hygiene-related risks (e.g. noise, chemical handling).
  • Collecting and record site information, including observations and supporting data.
  • Preparing clear and concise reports based on site findings.
  • Working with site teams to support implementation of practical safety improvements.
  • Supporting compliance with UK health and safety requirements and internal procedures.

Who we are looking for

  • NEBOSH Certificate (required) or Diploma (preferred), or equivalent qualification in Safety, Occupational Health or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years’ experience in an EHS or operational environment (industry or consultancy).
  • Basic understanding of UK health and safety legislation and requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to support multiple tasks.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with a willingness to engage with site teams.
  • Willingness to work onsite at client locations as required across the UK.
  • A full UK driving licence (or ability to travel independently to site locations).
  • Previous experience working with Enablon is preferred but not required.
