Join ERM’s global Digital Services business as an Environmental Software Implementation Consultant. In this client‑facing role, you will support business leaders in selecting, configuring, implementing, and sustaining EHS and sustainability management information systems (EMIS). You will provide independent, objective advice on commercially available software and custom‑built technologies, and help clients achieve effective environmental, health, safety, and sustainability outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate EMIS available on the market, assist clients with system requirements and software selection.
- Engage in all life‑cycle stages of project execution; implement EMIS software for clients worldwide, handling configuration, integration, testing, training, rollout, support, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Support consultant teams that configure/deploy environmental health, safety and sustainability solutions; draft design documents, configure specifications, analyze/migrate data, write test plans, and develop custom reports, dashboards, and interfaces.
- Participate in system support and development and delivery of training documentation.
- Apply functional and technical skills to configure EMIS software; serve as subject‑matter expert and escalation point for production issues.
- Map and analyze end‑to‑end business processes within third‑party and proprietary systems, following formal IT guidelines.
- Facilitate adoption of new information systems, managing change issues.
- Serve as a power user of collaborative technology and champion innovative business solutions within established and emerging technical architectures (e.g., Enablon, Sphera, Intelex, Cority, SAP EHSM, Workiva and other EHS&S software systems).
Requirements
- University education in Environmental Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- Knowledge of EHS software, methodologies, and domains is an advantage (e.g., Environmental Compliance, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Incident Management & Risk Assessment).
- Experience or education in Enablon, Sphera, Intelex, Cority, SAP EHSM, Workiva or other EHS&S software systems is a plus.
