This Consulting Senior Associate position offers a foundational opportunity to contribute to environmental consulting projects within a global firm.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior consultants with data collection, research, and analysis for environmental assessments, due diligence, and sustainability reports.
  • Prepare draft reports, presentations, and other project deliverables under supervision.
  • Support project coordination activities, including maintaining project documentation and tracking progress.
  • Conduct site visits as required, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously learn and develop technical skills relevant to environmental consulting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Geology, Biology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and a strong interest in environmental and sustainability issues.
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience in an environmental field is a plus.

The ideal candidate for an entry‑level environmental consultant is expected to possess the following characteristics/skills:

  • Availability for travel;
  • Driving experience and a valid driver’s license are desirable;
  • Advanced/Intermediate English skills (speaking, writing, listening);
  • Proactive, organized, and committed to deliverables;
  • Experience in conducting environmental audits and due diligence;
  • Knowledge of ASTM E1527 Phase I ESA;
  • Knowledge of CETESB Board Decision 38/2017 and its updates;
