b Overview /b p In this role you will lead stakeholder engagement workstreams for major capital projects, shaping engagement strategies to secure social acceptance and facilitate planning, consenting, and delivery. You collaborate with cross-functional teams within Capital Project Delivery to manage risks and ensure high-quality stakeholder communications. You help clients translate complex information for broad audiences and support assessments like SIA and EIA. The position offers opportunities to grow a growing service line and influence project outcomes and sustainability objectives. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead stakeholder engagement workstreams on major capital projects /li li Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and consultation strategies /li li Design and facilitate engagement activities (workshops, public exhibitions, focus groups, interviews, community events) /li li Advise clients on stakeholder risks, issues, and opportunities /li li Prepare stakeholder engagement plans and consultation reports for planning documents /li li Translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences /li li Support delivery of Social Impact Assessments (SIA), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and related consent applications /li li Manage stakeholder databases, consultation records, and reporting requirements /li li Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to ERM quality standards /li li Act as Project Manager or Task Manager on engagement projects /li li Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across CPD and ERM service lines /li li Manage subcontractors and specialist suppliers as required /li li Ensure effective risk management and project governance /li li Build trusted client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities /li li Lead and contribute to bids, proposals, and client presentations /li li Support growth of stakeholder engagement, social value, and social sustainability services /li li Contribute to thought leadership and market positioning initiatives /li li Mentor and coach consultants and senior consultants /li li Share best practices, tools, and methodologies across the team /li li Support recruitment, onboarding and capability development /li li Promote collaboration across technical disciplines and geographies /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Significant experience delivering stakeholder engagement programmes for infrastructure, energy, utilities, transport, development or environmental projects /li li Strong understanding of planning, consenting and EIA processes /li li Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships (local communities, statutory consultees, government bodies, industry bodies) /li li Proven project management capability (budget and programme management) /li li Excellent facilitation, communication and presentation skills /li li Strong report writing and analytical abilities /li li Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams /li li Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a consultancy environment /li /ul ul li facilitation excellence /li li clear communication /li li stakeholder relationship building /li li stakeholder engagement planning /li li SIA and EIA support /li li risk and governance management /li /ul
