ERM is seeking a motivational leader with expertise in Chemical regulations to join us as a Partner in our Sustainable Product & Supply Chain team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of EU and GB REACH and other chemical/REACH-like regulations and direct experience on dossiers and dealing with issues associated with regulatory processes such as safety datasheet, risk assessment, strategy and authorization.

You will work closely with clients across Industrial Chemicals, Manufacturing (both durable and consumer products), Energy, and Pharmaceutical / Health-care, to deliver innovative solutions where necessary. Experience of international chemical regulations such as TSCA, FIFRA, OSHA, UN GHS or emerging market product regulation and registration would be an advantage.

Role profile

In this client-facing role, the Partner will be responsible for business development to grow our Sustainable Product & Supply Chain business through a variety of services, e.g. substance registration, REACH-authorisation, integrated Product Stewardship services including regulatory support, strategy development and auditing.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans, provide leadership, and deliver performance results to expand ERM's Sustainable Product & Supply Chain team and client base.
  • Drive double-digit profitable growth across targeted sectors through innovative service delivery and market engagement.
  • As a senior ‘seller/doer’, personally win project work annually with support from peers, account directors and technical experts. This would be achieved through identification and development of new opportunities, effective technical proposals, and development of new business with new and existing clients.
  • Be client facing, with a proven track record of developing Key Client relationships to meet business development needs.
  • Design and direct large projects and multi-person project teams. Achieve client’s expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Provide people leadership - lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure the team delivers high quality of work and continue to be developed.
  • Actively promote and cross-sell ERM’s diverse service areas to drive broader client impact.
  • Leverage ERM’s global network, working closely with offices across EMEA and other regions to provide integrated solutions to clients.
