An established and growing client of mine are looking to expand their digital marketing team by adding an SEO Content Writer. You will have previous copywriting experience, and a skill set that includes a variety of SEO Tools and best practices, taking ownership of content from ideation to publication. You will be technically minded in order to learn the business’ complex internal systems. This role will be on site in Heanor, with a supportive environment where collaboration, learning and creativity are encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor and analyse content performance
- Making data-driven adjustments as required.
- Support content with keyword research and SEO best practice.
- Write clear, informative, and accurate technical content
- Translate complex technical information into easily digestible and engaging content
- Develop a deep technical understanding of our service offering and internal processes to inform relevant content.
- Conduct research and interpret data to support product marketing strategies.
Requirements:
- Understanding of SEO best practice
- Proven copywriting or journalism experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research skills and ability to understand unfamiliar technical systems quickly.
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) is desirable
- Experience of Analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
- Adaptable.
