An established and growing client of mine are looking to expand their Electronics team, by bringing in an experienced Electronics Engineer. Effectively, your role will be responsible for helping develop remanufacturing solutions for complex automotive electronic and mechatronic control modules. In your role as Electronics Engineer, you will be a key member of the Research and Development team, performing rebuild solutions for electronic hardware and software failures as well as creating the relevant technical documentation. You will test electronic circuits by simulating vehicle loads and signals as well as reverse engineering electronic circuits to find root causes of failures. This role would suit someone with a passion for electronics. This role will be on site in Heanor. Should you wish to discuss flexibility, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience in mathematics of circuit analysis
  • Experience in electronic fault finding to component level
  • Experience of PCB rework methods
  • Knowledge of automotive operations, wiring diagrams, electronics, and communication protocols
  • Lean process methodologies
  • Automotive or embedded environment experience would be beneficial

Package:

  • £30,000 - £36,000 Basic
  • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
