Are you an experienced Data Manager / Data Leader looking to move into a Head of Analytics / Insights role? A multi-national client has created a brand-new Head of Analytics role and wants someone to bridge the gap between the technical team and director of data, championing the team and business partnering across the business.
As a Head of Analytics, you will be an expert Data storyteller, with a proven history of working and communicating data to senior stakeholders. You will have a commercial focus / background and experience of data due diligence as well as an understanding of technologies such as SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, SAP Business Objects etc.
Proven experience leading teams is essential as you will have three senior direct reports in this role. This position would suit someone ambitious who is looking to progress their career. The role will be primarily remote, with the expectation of at least once per month in Leeds.
Package:
- 35-hour work week
- Up to 20% bonus
- 30 days holidays + bank holidays (plus buy and sell 5 more days)

Desired experience and skills:
- Proven ability leading analytical / data teams
- Excellent ability to translate and communicate data into stories, highlighting where value can be added and outcomes can be achieved.
- Experience designing analytical frameworks
- Strategic and commercial mindset
- Experience of various tech such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Azure, SAP Business Objects etc.
- Understanding of data quality principles, data architecture and data governance.
- The ability to influence stakeholders of all levels
