An established, double-digit million-pound revenue client of mine is on the market for an experienced Web Developer to manage and develop their internal platform. This role requires an experienced Developer, who is happy to accept ownership of all things Development within the business, whilst making suggestions for platform improvements and highlighting new technologies that may be beneficial.

As a Web Developer, you will ensure accessibility and future compatibility of the website front end, whilst also managing AWS environments, including setup, monitoring, and optimisation. The company are based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire and are happy for the right candidate to come into the office two days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, maintain, test, and maintain the platform
  • Work alongside a third-party to enhance the system
  • Develop and maintain APIs, databases, and system integrations
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and usability of software systems
  • Write clean and efficient code
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Web Development role
  • PHP Laravel
  • AWS
  • Bonus points for full stack experience
  • Understanding of modern tech
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new tech
