This exciting and established client is looking to add an Engineering Manager to their development team based in Penrith. You will have a track record of creating an environment of accountability through technical excellence, continuous improvement and delivery commitments with long-term technical strategy. You will be managing several squads by overseeing the quality and timeliness of performance delivery of software solutions from all team members.
Core skills required:
- Excellent experience managing dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical background with modern programming languages Node.js, Express, TypeScript, Vue.js, PostgreSQL etc
- Strong experience mentoring and coaching software engineers at all levels
- Track record of delivering complex technology projects, balancing technical debt, quality and speed
- Strong experience with agile, DevOps, CI/CD and cloud-based infrastructure
- Familiarity scaling engineering teams and managing cross-team dependencies
- Familiarity with compliance, information security and regulatory standards relevant to the financial services industry
