This profitable and growing business is looking to add an experienced Data Business Partner to their collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of the principles and best practice in MI development. This role leans itself to be more of a ‘Business Data Analyst role’, where you will act as the bridge between the data team and wider business stakeholders.

The Data Business Partner will still undertake hands‑on data analysis, but you will work closely with clients and central marketing teams to provide insight and guidance on how data and MI can add value. A technical understanding is expected, but the key to this role is having the personality to develop strong links with leadership teams and become their trusted advisor within the data team. You will develop the data strategy for clients to align with business priorities and their needs whilst providing value through data and MI.

The role will require 1‑2 days per week in the office, with the ideal location being their head office in Nottingham. Birmingham or London could also be considered.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex data to non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders / clients to understand their data journey and how value can be provided through data and MI.
  • Experience designing, developing and maintaining MI solutions e.g. reporting, dashboards and analytics tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience of working in an analytical and data intensive environment.
  • Tech Stack – SSRS, SSMS, PowerBI, T‑SQL, SQL Server, Visual Studio.
