Erin Associates are recruiting for a Birmingham based software house seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to own architecture, technical direction, and best practices for a small, high performing development team.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead architecture across Node.js, React, and .NET
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to developers
- Design scalable SQL and NoSQL data solutions
- Drive performance, scalability, and cost-effective cloud architecture
- Produce technical designs, prototypes, and architectural decisions
- Produce clear documentation
- Collaborate closely with algorithms and data processing teams
Essential Experience
- 5+ years cloud full-stack development
- 2+ years in a Senior or Lead Developer role
- Proven experience managing and mentoring developers
- Strong enterprise cloud architecture background
- Comfortable working hands-on within the code
Required Skills
- Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, C# (.NET)
- Frontend: React, TypeScript
- Data: Strong SQL, MongoDB (or equivalent NoSQL)
- Cloud & Delivery: Azure (App Services, Azure Batch – production experience)
- Azure DevOps (CI/CD, repos, pipelines, boards)
The Technical Lead will have a real influence over architecture and tooling and will be joining a friendly, agile, and innovative team, based in Birmingham where you will play an integral role in the development of data-rich, user-friendly applications.
