We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer with strong experience in Rolls-Royce supplier quality requirements, specialising in FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) package reviews. This is a remote Inside IR35 contract, for an initial 6-month engagement, supporting our end client's MRO operations in Taiwan.
Overview
The Quality Engineer will act as a technical quality authority, reviewing and validating FAIR packages, ensuring compliance, and liaising directly with engineering and quality teams in Taiwan. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in aerospace quality standards and strong communication skills.
Key Requirements
- SABRe Standard (MRO): Deep knowledge of SABRe for MRO applications and its links to wider aerospace standards.
- AS13100: Practical experience with APQP and a proven track record of achieving PPAP approvals.
- Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA): Ability to determine when MSA is required, conduct the analysis, and document results effectively.
- AS9102: Proficiency in completing AS9102 forms in line with Rolls-Royce expectations.
- Net-Inspect & Form 123 Evidence Pack: Strong familiarity with these systems and their use within FAIR packages.
- GD&T: Advanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate across multiple international teams.
- Multitasking Ability: Comfortable managing several projects concurrently within a structured quality environment.
