A dynamic opportunity has opened within a leading aerospace Quality Development Programmes & Major Industrial Projects team based in Broughton. This role is ideal for professionals eager to drive innovation and excellence in manufacturing quality and industrial systems.

Initially working on a standard day shift but candidate would need to be open to the possibility of a different shift further down the line (notice would be given of any shift change).
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in resolving complex quality challenges and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The position focuses on enhancing:
- Process performance and product compliance
- Reliability and repeatability of manufacturing processes
- Quality assurance from initial design through product lifecycle
- Prevention, surveillance, inspection, and adherence strategies
Key Objectives
The Role Involves Ensuring Full Quality Industrialization Across:
- Major modifications, targeted embodiment points, incremental and full developments
- Industrial transfers to support serial production and ramp-up
- Production Organisation Approvals (POA) to maintain high product safety standards
- Quality input into risk assessments, planning sessions, and stakeholder reviews
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Applying and deploying APQP and quality standards
- Facilitating FMEA across design, process, and machinery
- Creating and updating control plans to reflect modifications
- Planning and executing production process verification (PPV)
- Leading cost of non-quality forecasting and supporting mitigation efforts
- Providing lineside support during test campaigns and start-of-production phases
- Supporting the cascade of key characteristics and critical items from design and engineering
- Driving APQP deliverables including decision trees, applicability matrices, and business assessments
